The Göttweig Abbey guest house has 35 overnight rooms. Guests experience a ‘holiday in the monastery’ in the simple double rooms, as well as in the newly designed comfort rooms and double rooms with a view of the Wachau. 

We distance ourselves from the broad concept of a hotel business and limit ourselves to the essentials, which were defined under Abbot Columban Luser as ‘Silent Luxury Luxury Silence’. Our offer simply includes ‘bed and breakfast’. 

Enjoy the extensive grounds in the apricot and herb garden or learn about the almost 1000-year history of the monastery on a tour in the abbey museum. The 5 public prayer times of the Benedictine monks invite you to a unique holiday experience.
